A Surprise Encounter

While waiting for kingfishers and with my eyes darting everywhere looking for that flash of blue I saw something moving across the top of the fence near by.

So close I could almost reach out and touch him I practically held my breath to take this photo for fear of making his tiny heart beat a little faster.
