The British Seaside

A grey and overcast day in July can feel very typical of a British Summer but the colour is often provided by our particular fondness for beach huts. A symbol for many of summer holidays in days gone by but for me a reminder that even on the best summers day in the U.K. a refuge from the changeable weather is a good idea.
